Once its installed, subsequent upgrades will upgrade both packages, of course.
If you only ever upgrade and want to keep the GUI, you'll have to install the "mkvtoolnix-gui" package manually once. : The packages for AlmaLinux, CentOS Stream and Fedora have been split into two packages to match what the distributions are doing: a non-GUI package "mkvtoolnix" and the GUI-only package "mkvtoolnix-gui".

: Added packages for Debian 11 "Bullseye".: Added binaries for Ubuntu 21.10 "Impish Indri" & dropped support for Ubuntu 20.10 "Groovy Gorilla".: Added binaries for Ubuntu 22.04 "Jammy Jellyfish" & Fedora 36 &ĭropped support for Ubuntu 21.04 "Hirsute Hippo".More Matroska related news can be found in my blog.
